Three steps. No account, no wallet connection.
Any wallet you're about to send to or receive from.
TRC20, ERC20, TRX, ETH or BTC — freezes are tracked separately for each network.
A 0–100 score with the exact reasons behind it.
The same data categories enterprise AML tools use — updated daily.
OFAC, EU, UN and UK crypto addresses — 1,400+ addresses across multiple chains.
Tether and Circle blacklists, plus freezes queued for execution — minutes before they go through.
Known mixing services, darknet markets, ransomware and scam clusters.
Traces the money trail up to 8 hops back, weighted by the share of tainted value.
Smurfing, pass-through wallets, fan-in/out, rapid draining and new-wallet risk.
Direct and indirect exposure to high-risk counterparties, weighted by volume.
“It showed a pending freeze on the seller's wallet minutes before I accepted a P2P transfer.”
“We check every incoming wallet before crediting the deposit. Because scores are volume-weighted, false positives are very rare.”
“The report explains the ‘why’ — not just a number. That's what got the counterparty to change the terms.”
A free AML check answers one practical question before you accept or send USDT: is this address linked to money you do not want to touch? On SafeON you paste a public address and get a risk score from 0 to 100, together with the reasons behind it.
The Free plan gives you 1 free check with a detailed PDF report, so the free result is not a teaser. It covers:
What it does not do: it does not prove who owns a wallet, it is not legal advice, and no score is a 100% guarantee. Treat it as a risk signal before a transaction, not as a compliance certificate.
You never share a private key or seed phrase, and you never connect a wallet. Only the public address is used. For a fuller routine before you receive funds, see how to check wallet risk before a deposit.
The number is a summary. The reasons are what you act on. Read the result in this order:
| Part of the result | What to look at | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Risk score | Higher means stronger links to risky sources | On a high score, pause the deal and ask questions first |
| Risk sources | Which categories appear and how close they are | Weigh direct links far more than distant ones |
| Freeze status | Whether Tether has frozen the address | USDT on a frozen address cannot move; do not send to it |
| Exchange exposure | Ordinary exchanges in the history | Normal for most wallets and not a red flag on its own |
Direct exposure, where the address itself dealt with a risky wallet, is more serious than indirect exposure several hops back. The difference is explained in direct vs. indirect risk in on-chain analysis.
Sanctions screening matters most for P2P traders, OTC desks and small exchanges, because funds from a sanctioned source can lead an exchange to review or restrict your own account. Each SafeON check looks for links to OFAC-sanctioned addresses, both on the address itself and along the path its funds took.
A sanctions match is not something to negotiate around. If the result shows direct sanctions exposure, do not complete the trade, keep the PDF report, and ask your compliance contact or a lawyer what applies to you.
Other networks are not supported today, so do not rely on a result for an address on another chain.
The free check is enough to screen one counterparty before one important deal. You will want more when:
Paid plans add more checks and wallet monitoring. On any plan, SafeON cannot unfreeze or recover funds; only Tether decides on freezing. If you are unsure what a bad result looks like in practice, read signs of a high-risk crypto address.
Yes — your first full check is free. You only sign in with a phone number or email; no KYC. Paid plans add more checks and automatic monitoring.
No. You just paste an address. We read public on-chain data — we never ask for private keys, signatures or a wallet connection.
Every label carries a confidence weight, and exposure is weighted by the actual value that flowed. So a distant tainted ancestor with a tiny share won't flag a clean wallet as “critical”.
No. SafeON is a screening tool that helps you avoid risk before a transaction. We don't offer any fund recovery or unfreezing services.
It is a 0-100 summary of how strongly an address is linked to risky sources such as sanctioned addresses, mixers, scams or stolen funds; higher means more risk. Always read the listed reasons too, because the number alone does not tell you why.
Yes. TRON (TRC20) is fully supported, including the risk score, sanctions exposure, USDT freeze status and source of funds. BNB Smart Chain is fully supported as well.
Yes. Every check looks for exposure to OFAC-sanctioned addresses, both on the address itself and through the path its funds took over several hops.
No. The check only reads public blockchain data about the address. Nothing is sent to the wallet and its owner is not told.
Yes, you sign in with a verified phone number or email before checking. No identity documents are required.
